Words and phrases of the weekend:
"Come On."
"Wal-mart"
"Let me see it." (we frequently say it to him when helping him open something)
We are home and enjoyed our visit with NeNe and G and Ra-Ra and Papa. Photos are coming later.
I've gotta get ready for work tonight.

Mommy time
Sitting in the waiting room at the GI doctor, I listened to old ladies chatting about their gossip for the week and old men starring me down wondering why I was in the waiting room. I was so out of place.
And, this is Mommy time. I have to take care of myself. I have Celiac disease and have been feeling some feelings that I thought I had gotten over with my gluten free diet. Well, I went to the GI doc and they had to draw blood, I have to give them specimens to check (who would want THAT job?!?) and then drink Barium which is like chalk. I have to drink Barium for my CT scan on Monday. They will be checking my abdomen for any abnormalities.
All that to say, listen to your body. If something is not right, get it checked out.
I am not a fan on Colon cancer (who is, right?!?) My great aunt died with colon cancer at 44 and my aunt on the other side had colon cancer. I WILL NOT take this for granted.
Yep, this doesn't embarrass me to talk about it. I feel like colon cancer is nothing to joke about. I am 28 and plan to be here for a long time. :)

BOWLING ADVENTURE!
We had a blast! We know that we will be bowling for years to come. Jackson got up from his nap trying to go outside and saying "Bowl."
We hope you enjoy this little video.

5:45 AM and spilled water
On Sunday, Jackson caught a little cold at the church nursery. (not the first time. building up his immune system) And, we put vick's vapor rub on his chest to help him sleep. Well, at 5:45AM he was coughing up a storm. I decided to go in and put more on him. Well, I tried to see what time it was and forgot that I had a cup of water at the end of my nightstand. Water went everywhere!!! After turning on the light (disturbing my hubby's sleep) and cleaning up my mess, I went in to check on Jackson. He was already back asleep. So, now, I am surfing the web and unable to go back to sleep. I am the type of person that is cursed with "once I am up, I am up for the day." That DOES NOT mean that I won't take a nap before my night shift at Starbucks. However, my son will be up in an hour, so I really can't go back to sleep now.
I didn't get a chance to post last night's photos, so here they are:
(Did I mention that I DESPISE flash photography?) However, low lighting and toddlers are not a good mix.
My son has always had A TON OF HAIR on his little head. We have tried everything to get rid of his cradle cap. I read about Olive Oil for the scalp. So, we tried it tonight. I will let you know in the morning if it works!

Humidifiers tops make great masks.
