Morning

Apparently, Jack partied hard at church last night. Hubs and I have already exchanged gifts, cleaned up, eaten breakfast and he is still snoozing!! 

Merry Christmas!

No sleep. Too excited.

Whenever I go on trips, I rarely get sleep the night before. I decided to have a mommy Pinterest party and stayed up until midnight. 

I just woke up excited to see my family today and really have no plans of falling back asleep. So much to do before I  leave. 

I thought it would be a great day to sleep in with the house all to myself, but I am ready to go.

Now, if my brain could tell my body to get up, I would be in business.

Rain

This rain needs to be finished. I have leaves to tackle in my yard. I can't stand to track wet leaves in my home because they stick to my shoes. 

On a happier note, Ladd Christmas is tomorrow. I am looking forward to giving all of our gifts to our family!!

Christmas time

This is the first year Ben has worked a lot during the prime times of getting everything ready for the holidays.

I have wrapped all the gifts, decorated the house, written all our Christmas cards, shopped for all the gifts, and decorated the tree. I am very ready for tomorrow night when he has 8 days off. I miss doing all these traditional things with him. :-/

Monday

Most people dread Monday. It is going to be a fun day for me with a morning Christmas party and other fun things going on!

Productive day

Finished a wreath, wrapped almost all of our gifts, and spent family time going Tacky Christmas lights looking (tradition for 8 years). Now, Christmas cards. 

Happy Birthday, Jesus.

We were reading his Bible before bed and I thought it was appropriate to read him the story about Jesus' Birth. I was explaining to Jackson about Jesus' Birthday since we are putting together our nativity scene. Quickly, he asked me if He had cake and balloons. He was very excited about His birthday. He said that the angels were there with Mary and Joseph. 

When he was falling asleep for his nap, he was singing "Happy Birthday, Jesus." Sweet moment for my little boy.

I guess we need to have some cake and balloons on 12/25 to celebrate! 

Nightmare

I hate having nightmares. And, especially when it envolves me being separated from my boys.
