Playmate

These neighbors had the best time this morning playing together. He even got to sleep in Norah's room. I was nervous about getting two toddler boys to sleep at the same time, but it worked out beautifully and even encouraged Jack to be quiet and to go to sleep. I hope that technique works with his little sister.

Jack is reading to Henry.

After lunch wind down time before naps. The construction worker and fireman enjoyed playing together today,

Parents

My parents made a surprise and short visit to our home this evening. They were passing through on their way home. At their house, they were having bad storms and I insisted they stop and rest here tonight. I was able to show them all my new Norah things and developments. I wish they could stay longer, but they will be back very soon.
Jack will be thrilled when he wakes up tomorrow morning to find two of his favorite people sleeping in our home.

3rd trimester naps

I am starting to really like the third trimester naps. I was fighting them, but now I am embracing them as I have 9 weeks left and probably won't sleep like this when Norah comes into this world.

Embracing the nap.

My brother is home 6-4-14 (and a very productive day)

Because he did so well after his liver transplant, he was able to go home early!! He is very happy to be home and in his own bed.

We had a ridiculously busy day, but a productive day. I had a very rough night last night, so Ben, his mom, and Jackson went to "Waffle Cone House" (as Jackson said) to eat breakfast while I rested at home. Mr. Ladd is so thoughtful and knows when I need that extra time to rest for the day.

Then, when they returned we worked on Jack's garden. Becky and David gave him his own vegetable garden. He asked for cucumbers and tomatoes and used his gardening tools this morning to help plant his garden. He is so proud of it.

Then, we headed to Hogansville so BeBe could pack up to go back home to Colorado. We drove her to the airport and returned back home in time to get ready for bed.

I think I am headed there myself VERY soon. Whew!

One other silly quote Jackson said today would have been "Mom, is that Burger King? Where did the king go?" Like, there is literally a king in each Burger King hanging out. I told him the king had to go home and go to bed because we were headed home to do the exact same thing.

My boys

Gracious, I love these two....nighttime reading.

Productive morning

I am in major cleaning/nesting mode. I have 2/11 windows washed. (ADD to cleaning) I have vacuumed the baseboards in our room. The pack n play is being assembled in our room. (Limited space in our room, so we are giving it a test run)
We lifted our mattress to clean under the bed. Our room will be all clean for Miss Norah in 10 weeks!

I need to finish washing the windows today, however, we might have to add in a pool visit to reward all our hard work.
